Day 1 : Marrakesh Exploration
Desert Morocco Adventure welcomes you with open heart in Marrakech which is the start point of this tour. Marrakesh is one of the most visited destinations in Morocco, a main city in Morocco which is filled with historical and cultural values. And it’s an important imperial city in Morocco ; built by the Almoravid dynasty.The meaning of the name of this city comes from the Berber words Mur (n) akush “ land of god” . This city is now home to a number of sophisticated accommodations that will make your stay more comfortable.
Some incredible tourist sites to visit are the Menara Gardens, the Koutobia mosque and the Majorel Garden. In the afternoon explore the most important place in Marrakesh : Jemaa el Fna square where you will be able to experience the atmosphere of the souks, admire plenty of activities such as the snake charmers, acrobats, comedians and singers, and in the evening taste the rich Moroccan kitchen before going back to your Riad .
Day 2 :Marrakesh – Fes
Second day moving with the Desert Morocco Adventure team to Fes via Beni Mellal and by crossing the Middle Atlas of Morocco and driving through the Cedre forest where it is possible to see barbay Monkies, Hereafter we hve a stop at Ifran, the most green city in Morocco and also known by the name “Small Switserland”. Arrival at your Riad in Fes and have a free evening.
Day 3 : Fes Exploration
This day we will stay in this city to visit all what it has to offer. Fes is absolutely a must-see site for every tourist who comes to Morocco. Not only that this city is known as one of the holiest cities with Islamic touches all over the place, it is also recognized as the oldest imperial city in Morocco. In this place, you can witness numerous cultural sites including the Bou Inania Medersa. We will get you in touch with the traditional life of the local people by visiting the marvelous souk and by walking in small streets. In the market you can also find anything you need. We then take you to the royal palace gate, the Jewish headquarters which isthe first mellah in Morocco , built in the 16th Century. Afternoon experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole old medina of Fes .
Day 4 : Fes – Volubilis – Meknes – Chefchaoune
After breakfast our Desert Morocco Adventure driver picks you up in your Riad and we continue our imperial cities trip to the third city : Meknes. Before visiting this city we will take you to the archeological site of Volubilis. It is an old Roman city and offers spectacular views. In 1997 it was included in the humanity cultural heritage list by UNESCO. Then to Meknes to visit the old historical monuments of Ismailia city and for a lunch break. After lunch heading north to Chefchaoune, a small white town where houses have blue doors and shutters which gives splendid views and contrast of colours. Night in a Riad
Day 5 : Chefchaoune – Rabat – Casablanca
Departure from Chefchaoune to Casablanca by traversing the Rif mountains and Kenitra City and arrive in Rabat which is the political capital of Morocco. This city has a large number of interesting sites for tourists. We will see the Hassan II Tower and the kasbah of Oudaya. Afterwards get to our hotel in Casablanca
Day 6 : Casablanca – Marrakesh
Free in the morning for leisure, personal exploration or relaxation at the hotel. Then discover the Castel of Cornish close to the seashore and the biggest mosque of Morocco (Hassan II Mosque). In the afternoon departure to Marrakesh .
