This wide flat Valley is ideal for a family trekking, feels like a hidden Himalayan Kingdom dropped into the Atlas Mountains. A year-round road link was only opened in 2001, before this valley was snowbound for four months a year. This valley provides access to Mgoun, second highest peak in Morocco, as well six-days trek north-south to roses valley. This area is one of the best in Morocco for trekking with families.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech - Azilal - Ait Bougmez Valley (1800 m):
After breakfast transfer from Marrakech to Ait Bougmez valley, offers an amazing view over the Atlas mountains. We visit Ouzoud Waterfalls the drive to Azilal where we will have our lunch. We continue our travel day to the village of Arouss. Arrival at the Gîte and we meet our muleteers team. Overnight in Gîte 5 hours drive.

Day 3: Arouss 1900m - Ait Imi spring 1900 m:
After breakfast we begin our hike, great day that allows us to meet the villagers working in the fields. We cross cultures on terrace and passing through several villages. Lunch will be under the large walnut trees near Tabant. In the afternoon we continue to Ait Imi spring. We will spend the night in tents. 5 hours trek.

Day 4: Ait Imi Spring – Adazen pass 2200m – Ifran village 2000m:
After breakfast we leave the source of Ait Imi to visit the famous dinosaur footprints. After we continue to the village of R'bat then we trek up to Adazen pass, offers great view of the valley. We have lunch then we descend to the other side of the valley. Overnight in tents near the village of Ifran. 5 hours work.

Day 5: Ifran village - Visit Izoughar lake 2600m – back to Zaouit Almzi Village 2200m:
We leave the village of Ifrane towards Izoughar Lake. We cross cultures on terrace and passing through other villages. We take a path up to Izoughar Lake where we will have Lunch. In the afternoon we trek back down to Zaouit Almzi in the valley. Overnight in tents. 6 hours trek.

Day 6: Zaouit Almzi Village - Timit 1800 m :
After breakfast we start our trek following the valley down to Timit village. We arrive Timit village. Dinner and overnight in gîte. 5 Hours trek.

Day 7: Aït Bougmez Valley - Marrakech:
After breakfast transfer back to Marrakech. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 8: Departure back home.
